The Eagle House project gave the NA CWL team an opportunity to extend its capability, both in terms of contract size and facade complexity. At an early design stage NA CWL incorporated an extra metre of floor space to the entire perimeter of the existing shell, by adding structural steel from the podium to the 32nd floor. By also developing a bespoke access strategy which included cradles, fixed scaffold and rope access techniques, the project was completed safely, on time and within budget.
NA CWL successfully provided the design, supply & installation of Hueck curtain walling, along with aluminium windows & doors, SFS framing, metal cladding, structural steel, louvre plant rooms & brise soliel. Being located in an environmentally sensitive part of London, on a very small footprint and surrounded by hospitals and residential buildings, the site demanded a ‘just-in-time’ approach to deliveries and continuous consideration of neighbouring residents.
